Ghana being the gateway of Africa with Covid 19.

The world knows Africa to be the richest continent on this planet Earth same way the center of the Earth too is in Africa precisely GHANA. The world’s heart is in Ghana, now as the whole world is panicking from this coronavirus (covid 19) the only place to run to is Africa.

Africa being the source of their problems is now also in fear as this pandemic disease is concerned. All diseases recorded are import because most people are running back to their country including Ghana as well.

Ghana has been the gateway to Africa which many people would like to run to. But now Ghana too has recorded this COVID 19 so the question is would the world like to come to GHANA as it has recorded this disease.

MINORITY STAGED OUT FROM PARLIAMENT FOR SONA, 2020.

The minority of the Ghana’s chamber of Parliament walks out today from their seats as the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo enters the house today to address the house and the country with the state of the nation address (SONA). They go out without giving any tangible reason.

As they were going out from the chamber they were singing part of the nation Anthem “And help us to resist oppressor rule with all our will and might forever more”. Today in the house they all wear black to express the hardship of the country’s economy.

Already they have said some of the minority has expressed their view on the common fund that was delayed for the third quarter of 2019. They keep on singing as they were walking out.

But the interesting part was when the minority went out from the Chamber the Majority was also singing “All for you Nana all for you” which means they are there for Him if the Minority have left. But some of the majority in Parliament also filled part of their colleagues MPs seat with the song they raised in Parliament today.

MIG ELECTED NEW SRC MEMBERS.


The multimedia institute of Ghana (MIG) has elected it’s new SRC members. The state of the elections happened during the first break of the school’s timetable. This is part of the school’s curriculum which takes place every year after graduation of batches.

The school hosted this to elect it’s new members to push the school high. According to students the former SRC president was no more a student in the school so they’re struggling to get in touch with some entertainment, sports excisions etc.

The school’s SRC is important to the students because that is when they express themselves and give suggestions to what is going on in and out of the school. It was an idea of the students body as they were complaining of SRC, so it was organized to elect their own favourite candidate. The election was held and finally they choose their leaders which as led them into joyous mood in the school now.

MOBILE SIM CARDS TO BE RE-REGISTERED, MINISTRY.

Madam Shirley Ayorko Botchway minister for Foreign Affairs and regional integration has said all mobile sim cards should be re-registered. She said this in an open forum held in her ministry, further more she said this exercise will help reduce crime in the country.

The re-registration of sim cards can also help track threats and others she said. Mobile fraudsters has taken it as an advantage of stealing monies from other people’s phones, moreover threatening people and kidnapping will also stop if Ghanaians take this serious.

The minister later said every Ghanaian should partake in this exercise because it will help them and also the nation as well. Being in use of MTN, VODAFONE, AIRTELTIGO, GLO all will be re-registering with a valid ID card, Passport and Ghana card. She says all Ghanaians should help fight the crime in our communities and in our lovely beautiful nation Ghana.

The vice president of the republic of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that the government is working tirelessly to make sure all electricity users can buy electricity credit on their smart phones anytime or anywhere they find themselves.

This is one of the challenges Ghanaians are going through if their lights goes off. So from 18th February,2020 all electricity users can download and install the app on their smart phones so that it can easily access them with good services.

Dr. Bawumia also said the app comes with many features, which means it has been design in a way that can give Ghanaians a good service.
